A weed sells for more than my potion. Is the shop broken?
Players saw that in the first weekend. Fill the order that pays. Revisit potions when the board stops favoring junk.
Orders
Fill the written order. The counter type and the faction favor are other pages.
Updated

Crops, potions, and curiosities need their own counter types. A potion on a crop stand does not sell. Decorate after the right stand exists. The long shopping aisle in the store pitch is just more stands in a row.
Which stand a good belongs on is the alchemy shop page. This page is only the written order.
Customer orders pay faster than hoping someone grabs a single herb. Fill the listed item, turn it in, and use that cash on the next machine or workshop level.
Reviews in the first weekend complained that a rough weed order paid more than a crafted blue potion. If you see that on your board, fill the weed order. Do not craft the potion out of pride until the prices change.
A faction order is still an order, so it can show up on this board. Who the six factions are, and what favor does, is the factions page. The ending page covers how that favor is read at the end.
If the board shows one you can fill, fill it. Do not look up a faction ranking first.
| You did this | You should see |
|---|---|
| Stock on the matching counter | Ordinary customers buy |
| Finished a resident's request | Friendship with that person moves |
| Raised a faction | Non-human customers, plus a special order |
| Workshop level up | More counters, machines, and recipes |
Players want a 25 percent, 50 percent, and max restock, plus a way to pin a minimum quantity and to exclude an item from the shelf. Those buttons are not in the launch build they described. You set quantities by hand.
If a stack is only there as alchemy fodder, do not leave it on a sales counter. You will sell the herb you needed for sediment.
Bone Nail's pitch for the workshop is mechanical alchemy. Different machines, different products. Keeping the machines fed beats stirring every potion yourself.
That only works after the seed queue and the crop supply exist. A machine with no input is furniture.
Several reviews say copper, not gold, is the early wall, and that signboards also spend it. If an upgrade is greyed out, check copper before you assume you are under-leveled.
No official copper table is posted. Spend the first orders on the machine and the counter, not on a sign.
